The story was revised on March 11 after the official launch of WynnBET.

WynnBET went live in VA on Thursday, marking its debut as the sixth sports betting app in the state.

On March 4, the permit was granted by the Virginia Lottery; however, the exact launch date for the sportsbook remained uncertain initially.

As of Thursday, WynnBET has joined the ranks as the third exclusive mobile sportsbook operator in Virginia.

Following the launch of five sportsbooks in Virginia since January, the market had remained fairly subdued. However, WynnBET has now become the first new sportsbook to enter the VA market after William Hill’s launch on February 3rd.

The time between permit approval and launch has typically been just a few days. However, Caesars broke this trend by launching the William Hill VA app a week after receiving approval. This seven-day gap was the longest delay between authorization and launch. Let’s take a closer look at the approval and launch dates of the other VA online sportsbooks:

How to wager with WynnBET

WynnBET provides betting opportunities for all the major NASCAR series. Furthermore, as part of their agreement with NASCAR, the company aims to further enhance their range of betting options related to racing.

The sportsbook also provides a wide range of conventional betting options, including spreads, moneylines, parlays, and prop bets.

In contrast to certain other sports-betting apps in VA, the WynnBET app designed for Virginia is required for use. The WynnBET app functioning in New Jersey, for instance, is incompatible with Virginia.

The app is now accessible for both iOS and Android devices. In case you are unable to find it in the App Store or Google Play, we recommend visiting WynnBET’s website through our provided links.

Furthermore, WynnBet has already introduced a range of promotions catered towards new users. Stay tuned to discover the specifics of these promotions, which may consist of a deposit bonus, risk-free bet, or other enticing benefits.

WynnBET, NASCAR, and some Virginia plans

The Nevada-based corporation, Wynn Resorts, has gained market access in its 10th state with the launch of WynnBET, their official casino and sports betting app, in Virginia.

The company revealed its plan to expand into Virginia in October. This move was made possible through a fresh collaboration between WynnBET and NASCAR, the highly esteemed American motorsports league. Once granted the necessary license, WynnBET will proudly serve as the official online sportsbook for both Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway, hosting prominent NASCAR races in Virginia every year.

According to Matthew Waters of LegalSportsReport, it seems that WynnBET did not obtain its license through its racetrack partnership, although it was a potential option.

In the end, it is possible that both the Martinsville and Richmond tracks may provide on-site retail sports betting options.
