The opportunity to win $1 million and experience the essence of the Big Apple for just $10 is rapidly slipping away as time runs out.
The Virginia Lottery, along with 29 other states and territories, is participating in the annual Powerball sweepstakes. Previous years were affected by the pandemic, resulting in a limited contest experience. However, this year, lucky Powerball winners from Virginia will have the opportunity to travel to New York City and attend Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
However, the deadline to enter is approaching. Virginia Lottery Powerball players must buy $10 worth of plays on a single ticket by Friday, Sept. 30 at the latest. The competition started on Aug. 1, and Friday marks the final opportunity to make a qualifying purchase.
Make sure to enter all your $10 ticket purchases from August and September before the final drawing deadline at 11:59:59 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9.
