Bristol casino hiring

Hard Rock officials are currently preparing for the opening of the first legal casino in Virginia, leading to the initiation of the hiring process for the Bristol casino.

The temporary opening of Hard Rock Casino and Resort Bristol is expected to take place in mid-2022, followed by the grand debut of the complete resort at a later date.

As the $400 million project progresses, job opportunities are beginning to emerge amidst ongoing construction.

Here’s your first opportunity to secure one of the numerous Virginia casino jobs that will be opening up in the coming years.

Bristol casino hiring for many departments

Hard Rock Bristol, situated on the border of Virginia and Tennessee, will hold the distinction of being the furthest west casino in Virginia. Diligent efforts by officials have guaranteed that it will also be the first casino to open in the state of Virginia.

Currently, Bristol is making good progress and is set to open ahead of similar projects in Danville, Norfolk, and Portsmouth.

The former Bristol Mall, which has been vacant since 2017, is being prepared by officials to house the upcoming Hard Rock Casino and Resort Bristol.

The temporary casino is anticipated to commence operations either in the first or second quarter of this year. Following the successful launch of Q1 and Q2, the complete resort is projected to open at a later time, most likely in 2025.

Bristol casino officials anticipate the creation of 2,000 temporary construction positions, as well as the recruitment of 600 full-time employees for the initial phase of the casino. Upon the complete establishment of the resort, it is projected to offer a total of 2,000 permanent full-time jobs, along with an additional 1,500 indirect employment opportunities.

Officials are in need of employees for virtually all departments as Hard Rock essentially begins the casino’s operations from scratch.

There will be an abundance of job postings ranging from gaming to security to entertainment. The hiring personnel have already published the initial ones.

Hard Rock Bristol’s plan for casino jobs

During its hiring spree for the Bristol casino, Hard Rock officials anticipate offering an average salary of $46,500.

The positions should generate plenty of interest, considering they are well above the regional average.

Officials have recently shared a range of job opportunities available at the Hard Rock Casino and Resort Bristol.

  • Dealer for table games
  • HR specialist
  • Security shift manager
  • Manager of compliance
  • Executive chef
  • Food and beverage Vice President
  • IT director
  • VP of finance
  • VP of marketing

Bristol casino officials are organizing two exciting upcoming events that you should consider attending if you’re interested.

  • The vendor information session will be held on February 4th from 9 to 11 in the morning.
  • The job information session will take place on February 5th, starting at 11 a.m. and concluding at 1 p.m.

In the upcoming months, more Virginia casinos will start revealing their intentions for hiring.
