Second chance with 2021 holiday scratchers

Starting on November 2, 2021, until January 23, 2022, the VA Lottery will be offering a second opportunity for non-winning ticketholders of select holiday scratchers to win holiday cash.

To be eligible for the second chance promotion, it is necessary to possess a ticket that did not win in any of those three games.

How to submit an entry

To participate in the second chance promo, you have the option to submit an entry through either the VA Lottery app or the VA Lottery website.

Ensure that you accurately input both the Second Chance Web Code and the Promotion Entry Number when submitting your entry online. These numbers are located on the top right corner of both the front and back of the scratcher.

Each promotion allows for a maximum of 25 entries to be submitted.

When second chance drawings take place

The initial draw for this promotion occurred on November 9th. However, if you missed out on this second opportunity, there are still eight additional draws remaining.

A total of 157 winners are chosen in every illustration, with each fortunate individual winning a prize of $100.

You have until November 28th to enter the upcoming drawing. The drawing itself is scheduled for November 30th.

To access a comprehensive list of upcoming drawings, please visit the official website of the VA Lottery.

Holiday prizes and odds of winning

Every holiday scratcher offers a unique promotion.

If you purchase Winter Winnings, a holiday scratcher priced at $5, you will receive five entries into the second chance promotion. By participating in the Holiday Cheer game, which costs $2, you will be granted two entries into the promo. Lastly, if you choose to buy the Holly Dough scratcher for $1, you will earn one entry.

The odds of winning the $100 prize are listed below.

The recipients of the drawings’ prizes will be contacted either through phone, email, or mail.

Be sure to engage in responsible play, and may luck be on your side throughout this festive season.
