According to the Virginia Lottery, as of now, no one has come forward to claim the ticket. The winner or their representatives have not yet contacted Lottery officials.

What happens next with Virginia Powerball winner?

We are currently in the phase of being both rushed and delayed. As per the regulations of the Virginia Lottery, any winning tickets must be redeemed within 180 days from the date of purchase. Since the ticket was bought on March 4, the deadline for the winner to claim their prize is August 31, 2025.

Gill Brothers, the store that sold the winning ticket, was awarded a bonus of $50,000. The bonus did not depend on whether the prize was claimed or not.

The prize received is the fourth-largest ever won in a Virginia Lottery game, marking the second instance of a Powerball jackpot being won in Old Dominion. The winning combination consisted of the numbers 10, 16, 18, 40, and 66, with the Powerball number being 16.
